As new roads are paved on the digital highways, Rainysongs Entertainment and the intellectual forces that make up our company are part of this road paving process. Digital online music and physical "brick and mortar" join forces at Rainysongs that is another focus of ours since the turn of the century. The results: business impresario Marvin Walker and Elese Entertainment revolutionized selling CD’s independently, and has taken street promotion to the next level - Elese Entertainment teamed up with Rainysongs Entertainment Digital and successfully bridged brick & mortar with digital retail. The Results: Ayanna / Girl Talk - with her hit single “Ooh Wee” hit #1 on billboard hip hop sales chart in December 2007.
OUR CEO Our founder and CEO Rainy Davis is a businesswoman, and entrepreneur. She is a successful artist, writer and music publisher, a multi platinum award winner and a Grammy nominated songwriter that understands what every artist has to persevere in order to be appreciated in this industry. She wants to share her blessings and industry expertise with talented and gifted artists around the world. Rainysongs offers our artists and clients more than another spot to place their music and videos. Now having the ability to not only produce product but also release it globally in every music market available. Rainy believed that she has been given a unique opportunity to initiate this company with some of the best talent globally. Rainy's concept is to bring together a select roster of artists, writers and producers and combine and afford them the opportunity to go global with their music. This is what makes Rainysongs a powerhouse digital music label. We appreciate and understand artists and their creativity! Rainysongs has the resources to place your product in front of the masses globally. BIT OF HISTORY Although Rainysongs digital label group is still young our musical experience spans over twenty years. In addition, we have the ability to change with the times musically. From the technical standpoint we were involved in developing the first portable 24 track digital recording and mastering studio and helped Cakewalk introduce their first release of the world renowned Sonar recording software which made its debut at the NAMM convention with the portable system we developed. Working from the early eighties with computers and sequencer hardware, we introduced Roland Musical Instruments to separate outputs on their TR-606 Drumatix which was not available commercially. We had a need so we designed the retrofit. With computer hardware, we have been into PC development since the days of DOS (Disk Operating System) all the way through to Windows Vista (registered trademark of the Microsoft Corporation) and Avid Technologies. Incorporating music into our equation, we have worked with a multitude of artists, producers, songwriters, arrangers, engineers, and executives in one aspect or another both known and unknown.
